  • To send you reminders and weekly health summaries.
  • To improve and personalize our service.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Keola:

  • Supabase: Database hosting and user authentication.
  • OpenAI: AI-powered food recognition and nutritional analysis from meal photos.
  • Anthropic (Claude): AI-powered nutrition coaching and health insights.
  • Twilio: WhatsApp messaging integration.
  • Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions.

These providers process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6. Data Retention
